Direct Print PRO: Printer Settings Priority

For regular reports, the printer settings will be applied in the following sequence:

  1. Printer from Print Action Button or Print Scenario (if specified)
  2. Printer from User Rules (if exists)
  3. Printer from Report Policy (if exists)
  4. Default Workstation Printer (Direct Print → Workstations)
  5. Default printer for current user (User Preferences)
  6. Default printer for current company (Odoo Settings)

For shipping labels, the printer settings priority is as follows:

  1. Default Workstation Shipping Label Printer (Direct Print → Workstations)
  2. Default Delivery Carrier Printer (Direct Print → Delivery Carrier Settings)
  3. Default Shipping Label Printer for current user (User Preferences)
  4. Default Shipping Label Printer for current company (Odoo Settings)

And for scales, the priority of printer settings will be as follows:

  1. Default Workstation Scales (Direct Print → Workstations)
  2. Default scales for current user (User Preferences)
  3. Default scales for current company (Odoo Settings)
